Guess you don’t know what you got…’til it’s gone. But I have to say I kind of miss being force-fed Christmas songs day and night and being bombarded with tinsel, snowmen, and Santa everywhere I go. Maybe we just go so overboard in the US with the commercialization of Christmas that I’ve gotten used to it and maybe here it’s just right. Besides the fact that it’s summer here in the Southern Hemisphere and the weather does not match the holiday season I’ve come to know, there seems to be a lot less decoration and overall Christmas hoopla around. It does not feel like Christmas here at all.
